Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) Satellite Services

The Office of Telecommunications Management (OTM) has established contracts for Broadband Global Area Network (BBGAN) satellite services and associated terminal equipment. These services provide satellite telephone and satellite internet protocol (IP) data capabilities covering the contiguous forty-eight United States.

The following contracts have been issued through the Office of State Purchasing (OSP):

The contracts include user equipment devices (approximately laptop computer sized) as well as various service plans that vary from vendor to vendor. Agencies should work directly with vendors to determine needs and select appropriate equipment and service.

How To Order
After reviewing and considering agency needs and the various offerings available, an agency may choose the service that most favorably meets the agency’s requirements for pricing, delivery time, and other criteria as deemed appropriate by the agency. A purchase order or release order with the appropriate contract item numbers must be prepared and presented to the vendor.

Billing Rates
Agencies will be billed directly by the vendor.
