Just Three Steps to Get to the End of the Road Home Program
The Road Home Homeowner Assistance program is the largest single housing recovery program in U.S. history and has helped more than 127,000 families affected by hurricanes Katrina and Rita get back into their homes. Now, the Road Home is moving into its final phase: covenant compliance. In just three steps, homeowners can complete the process.
1) Click here to request that a compliance packet be mailed to you.
2) Complete the two-page monitoring form in the packet and submit it and copies of the documents requested to show that the work on your home is complete.
3) Finally, a site visit will be made to your home to photograph the repairs. All site visits will be conducted by Road Home personnel with the proper identification badge.
Please don't delay. The grant requires homeowners to meet these requirements within three years of receiving Road Home funding. Homeowners who fail to comply might have their files reviewed, which could result in the potential repayment of the grant.
