- This update should be performed by an administrator. If you are not set up as a local administrator of the PC, please
contact your IT Support Staff.
- Make sure the PC Workstation has SAP GUI 6.20 installed on it. This can be verified by opening the SAP GUI and
verifying that the top menu header has SAP Logon Pad 620.
NOTE: If the SAP GUI is not currently installed on the machine, you must first install it from the CD.
- The update process will be done in two steps and requires a reboot after installing part 1.
- Click on the SAP GUI 620 Update - Part 1 link and select SAVE. (Either to local disk or network storage.)
- Click on the SAP GUI 620 Update - Part 2 link and select SAVE. (Either to local disk or network storage.)
- Open SAP_SetupFR_update.cab (Part 1) and execute the SAP_SetupFR_update.exe file by double clicking on it.
- Read and follow the instructions provided during the installation.
- Once SAP Setup Patch 23 has been updated, restart your PC.
- Once the PC has been restarted, open SAPGUI_update_72.cab and execute the SAPGUI_update_72.exe file
by double clicking on it.
- Read and follow the instructions provided during the installation.
- Once installation is complete, restart your PC.
