Overview
Pursuant to Executive Order 02-06, OIT establishes and directs the implementation of information technology standards, architecture, and guidelines suitable for statewide application for hardware, software, services, contractual arrangements, consolidation of systems and management of systems.

Approach
The CIO, using independent research and with input from the Technical Advisory Group, establishes the priority, selects, and implements statewide IT standards.

Established standards are documented on the OIT web site. |
"In process" and "planned" standards initiatives can be found on the Louisiana IT Standards Priority / Status spreadsheet, which includes the implementation status and time line for each technology. This list is updated as needed to reflect the current status or changes in priority necessitated by enterprise purchase requirements. |
