Executive Budget

The Executive Budget includes economic data, summary information on revenues, expenditures, recommended budget, and authorized positions as well as significant policy, performance, and financial information (as to means of financing and expenditures) for budget units.

Executive Budget Supporting Document

The Executive Budget Supporting Document includes expanded program financial information as well as program narratives (identifying program mission and goals), both key and supporting objectives and performance indicators, general performance data (trends and external comparisons), and explanatory notes for each program.

Note: Both the Executive Budget and the Executive Budget Supporting Document are a snapshot in time. They contain proposed funding levels and related performance information at the beginning of the appropriation process. Both funding levels and related performance information may change during the appropriation process. Initial appropriated funding levels and key performance standards may be found in the annual operating appropriations acts. The Louisiana Performance Accountability System (LaPAS) contains current performance standards for both key and supporting performance indicators.
