The mission of the School Lunch Salary Supplements Program is to provide financial assistance for nondiscriminatory, state-approved nonpublic schools, specifically for support staff lunchroom workers.
The goal of the School Lunch Salary Supplements Program is to equitably distribute the appropriated level of state support to each of the eligible nonpublic schools that apply for state aid during each fiscal year.
OBJECTIVES AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. The School Lunch Salary Supplements Program will reimburse $5,644 for full-time employees and $2,822 for part-time employees as well as audit 2 schools on site by FY 1998-99.
2 Includes $141,525 from a one-time pay supplement ($150 per full-time; $75 per part-time employee).
This program is funded by the general fund.

The total means of financing for this program is recommended at 100% of the existing operating budget. It represents 100.0% of the total request ($5,500,083) for this program.
The total recommended amount above includes $5,500,083 of Supplementary Recommendations of which $5,500,083 is State General Fund for the entire School Lunch Salary Supplements Program. Funding of this Supplementary recommendation is dependent upon renewal of the current sales tax rate of 3% on the sales tax suspension of exemptions base.
