Equipment
Financing Program - LEAF & MIPA
The
Office of State Purchasing has established two acquisition finance
programs. The Louisiana Equipment Acquisition Fund (LEAF) program
is a self administered internal finance program. The Master
Installment Purchase Agreement (MIPA) is a third party, vendor
finance program. The equipment which may be financed through
these programs includes those items which historically have
been rented or leased and those equipment items historically
placed in the bond portion of the Capital Outlay Bill.
The
eligible program participants are all budgeted state agencies
contained within the General Appropriation and Ancillary Appropriations
Acts. Agencies should contact State Purchasing to determine
eligibility for either program.
