The following two retirement codes will be added to our system effective pay period beginning February 23, 1998 and ending March 8, 1998:
| RT20 | DF COM RT2 |
| RT21 | RET-TREAS |
Retirement code RT20, DF COM RT2, has been established in UPS for LSU Medical Center hospitals as a deferred retirement. The employee and state share will be calculated at 6.2%. Employees must meet specific requirements to be eligible for this retirement code/type. Eligibility questions should be directed to your human resource office.
Retirement code RT21, RET-TREAS, has been established in UPS for the State Treasurer as a deferred retirement to assist in the identification of occupational types for LASERS. The employee share will be calculated at 7.5% and the state share at 13.0%.
