The Office of Telecommunications is issuing a warning to state agencies and their Telecommunications Coordinators regarding a billing/invoice scam issued under the name UST (www.us-telecom.com).

The Office of Telecommunications does not engage in any business with UST, and any invoices or bills sent by them regarding services issued to the State should be ignored. Again, do not issue payment to UST as this is a documented hoax. We encourage you to carefully review your billing records to ensure that payment has not been inadvertently issued to UST.
