ParkLync Coordinator FAQs
Agency ParkLync Coordinators Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, each agency has designated users that maintain current employee vehicle and contact information.
Each agency has designated users that have the ability to enter new employee vehicle and contact information. Once submitted, the Badging Office will authorize when the new employee picks up access badge. Until the Badging Office has authorized a new parker, please have the new employee follow the validation process to alleviate any concerns of being issued a ticket.
An employee’s name should be entered into ParkLync as they are requested on the access badge request form. The Badging Office will search for an employee’s name in ParkLync once the access badge has been issued.
If the employee has badge access to the garage(s), they may be entered into ParkLync the same way as Baton Rouge domiciled employees. If the employee does not have badge access to the garage(s), they are to follow the visitor validation procedures.
If there is a temporary license plate number, enter only the alpha-numeric characters into ParkLync. “TEMP” should only be entered into ParkLync if there is not a temporary license plate number. Once the permanent plate has been issued, the agency needs to update this information in ParkLync.
ParkLync does not recognize specialty license plates, so only the alpha-numeric characters are needed.
Each vehicle needs to be entered individually without an email address. Only the actual alpha-numeric characters of the license plate should be entered. Do not enter “PP” in front of the plate number if that is not printed on the license plate.
No, a vehicle may only be entered for each garage once.
Changes within the ParkLync system are immediately updated.
