Executive Orders
Executive orders are gubernatorial mandates issued to implement procedural aspects of state government. Executive Orders are filed with the Office of State Register for publication and distribution.
Past Executive Orders have created new commissions, councils, task forces and committees; issued and allocated bonds; authorized permit issuance; declared public health emergencies, approved emergency response, etc.
The acting governor is the official publisher of the Louisiana Register and all executive orders are published therein. Executive Orders are filed with the Office of State Register for publication and distribution.
