Telecommunications Information Notice 15-03 Ethernet Line of Service Fee Change

The Office of Telecommunications Management has established a new Ethernet line of service utilizing the statewide Regional Ethernet contracts. The new line of service imposes a flat monthly OTM service fee of $50 for each circuit, regardless of the type of circuit and vendor cost.
Currently, all new Ethernet circuits ordered since the establishment of the Regional Ethernet contracts are being charged with the flat $50 monthly fee, whereas all circuits established under the previous Metro Ethernet contracts are charged with a 3% OTM service fee calculated from the vendor cost. Effective July 1, 2015, all Metro Ethernet circuits will be moved to the new line of service, and the monthly service fee on each will be changed to $50.
