The incumbent is responsible for the direction and oversight of the complex, highly visible, mission-critical, Louisiana Department of Health's (LDH) information technology systems having statewide implications. The incumbent also works closely with representatives from the LDH program offices including Medicaid providing technical assistance and guidance.|

|IT Statewide Systems Technician 1/2/3/4 (TS)||October 06, 2022||Serves as technical lead for statewide information technology end user functions. Performs as subject matter expert for support of multiple agencies or vendor/third party coordination involving complex tasks and projects. Directs lower level staff in the utilization of monitoring tools to analyze the state of networking and telecommunication issues (ex. routers, circuits, switches, etc.). Work as the lead with other OTS teams, Circuit Vendors and Wiring Contractors for the resolution of networking, telecommunication and wiring issues.|
|Student Worker (RM)||October 06, 2022||An applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the State, in a sufficient number of courses and classes in such institution to be classified as a full-time regular student under the criteria used by the institution in which they are enrolled. A full-time student retains their status during breaks, which occur in the course of or between session, including summer breaks. Pay will be hourly and based upon the student’s major and classification within their program. Student operators may be scheduled to work 15-25 hours per week, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.|
