Telecommunications Information Notice 14-03 Emergency Preparedness: Telecommunications Services Priority for Data Networks

The Office of Telecommunications Management reminds all agencies who have recently converted or are in the process of converting their data networks from Frame Relay to alternate network services such as Ethernet, T1, etc., to assess their disaster recovery needs. OTM offers Telecommunications Service Priority as an option for priority restoration of services in the event of a disaster. TSP service does not automatically transfer during conversion to the new service but must be ordered with the replacement network service.
