Telecommunications Information Notice 24-06 Cellular Direct Internet

The Office of Technology Services has created a new line of service to provide Cellular Direct Internet access for consolidated agencies via LTE/5G mobile data providers. This service is activated automatically at each user site in conjunction with a standard OTS software-defined network deployment. CDI provides a low-cost redundancy option for the vast majority of sites, but it may also be used as a primary Internet service at very small offices or for remote workers who utilize the OTS Hospitality Access Point service.

IWAY LTE Internet services previously billed through Network Services are being migrated to the new CDI service, which will appear on customers' OTS invoice. The rate for CDI service is $52/month regardless of carrier. The service will begin billing effective July 1, 2024.
